The IDF, Shin Bet security agency, and Border Police have been conducting an operation in Nur al-Shams, east of Tul Karem, for over 40 hours.
During the clashes, the troops have neutralized at least ten terrorists, detained eight suspects linked to terrorism, discovered explosive devices and other weapons, and inspected buildings used by terrorists.
In addition, a laboratory for manufacturing explosive devices has been found and destroyed. Numerous weapons, including pistols and M-16s, have been seized.
During the operation, eight IDF soldiers and one Border Police officer sustained injuries of moderate and light severity. They have been transported to hospitals, and their families have been notified of the incident.
