Border police arrest nine Palestinians from Issawiya
Over the past few weeks, the Border Police have arrested nine residents of East Jerusalem's Palestinian neighborhood of Issawiya suspected of involvement in hate crimes.
The suspects are believed to have carried out attacks using homemade explosive devices, Molotov cocktails, fireworks, and firecrackers. They also threw stones at law enforcement officers.
The detainees are aged between 17 and 23 years old. Charges will be brought against them in the near future.
Some of the detainees were involved in clashes with police not only in Issawiya but also in other areas, including the Temple Mount.
