The Israeli settlement of Meirav was once again shelled from the direction of the Palestinian Authority's Arab village of Jalbun on the morning of April 21.
A building was damaged, but no casualties were reported.
The Jenin Battalion of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for the shelling.
Israeli military forces entered Jalbun to search for the suspects in the area. During the operation, an explosive device was detonated in the path of the soldiers, but no one was injured, according to the IDF spokesperson.
