The IDF Spokesperson's Unit responded to reports of the US administration's alleged plans to impose sanctions on the Netzah Yehuda battalion over suspected war crimes against Palestinians in Judea and Samaria.

"The members of the Netzah Yehuda Battalion display courage and professionalism while serving in the Gaza Strip, adhering to the IDF's ethical code and international law. They are at the forefront of round-the-clock combat efforts to safeguard Israeli citizens' safety," the statement read.

The press service clarified that the IDF has no knowledge of any impending sanctions against the battalion.

"The IDF thoroughly investigates all incidents and will continue to do so," the army press service affirmed. Additionally, it underscored the battalion's significant role in recruiting Orthodox Christians into the IDF.
