Israeli injured by explosion as he tries to remove Palestinian flag on side of road
On the morning of April 21, an Israeli civilian was lightly injured as a result of an improvised explosive device near the West Bank settlement of Kochav Hashahar in the Binyamin region, medics say.
A low-powered homemade explosive device detonated when the man attempted to remove a Palestinian flag on the side of Route 458.
According to Magen David Adom, the Israeli man, 28, suffered a minor leg injury. He was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
The incident took place near the location where 14-year-old Benjamin Achimeir was killed by terrorists on April 12.
