In Tel Aviv, relatives of the abducted individuals and their supporters from Israel have blocked Begin Highway near the General Staff "Kiriya" military base. They plan to remain on the highway for 209 minutes, dedicating one minute for each day their loved ones have been held captive by Hamas.
According to Haaretz, residents of Kibbutz Be'eri initiated this action.
The demonstrators are demanding that the government negotiate with Hamas on any terms necessary. They believe that reaching a deal with Hamas could help secure the release of the abducted individuals. Additionally, they call for an end to hostilities in the Gaza Strip.
