Shin Bet arrests 3 Islamic Jihad terrorists directed from Lebanon
The Israeli General Security Service (Shin Bet) has reported the arrest of three Islamic Jihad militants from the village of Ya'bad, located southwest of Jenin. The militants were acting on instructions from headquarters in Lebanon and were planning a terrorist attack against the Israeli military in Samaria.
These individuals were apprehended back in January, but detailed information about their detention was only authorized for publication today.
The arrested terrorists have been identified as follows: Ahmad Talib Khalid Abu Bakr (29 years old), Ibrahim Abd ar-Rahim Jabr Abu Bakr (29 years old), and Ubaidah Mansur Muhammad Abu Bakr (18 years old).
Explosives were seized from them during the search. A subsequent investigation revealed that the terrorists had received cryptocurrency, procured chemicals to manufacture bombs, and assembled explosive devices.
