IDF destroys launcher from which rockets were fired at Kerem Shalom
The IDF says Israeli fighter jets struck the launcher from which Hamas terrorists earlier fired at the Kerem Shalom crossing on the border of the Gaza Strip.
The IDF says the rocket fire was carried out from an area close to the Rafah Crossing with Egypt, some 350 meters from a civilian shelter.
The military says the attack is “a clear example of the terrorist organization's systematic exploitation of humanitarian facilities and spaces, and their continued use of the Gazan civilian population as human shields.”
The IDF has also released footage of the Hamas rocket attack, which led to the injury of ten people.
The Kerem Shalom crossing on the southeastern border of the Gaza Strip was closed after the rocket attack. The delivery of goods through the crossing has been suspended.
