IDF eliminates Hamas commanders and militants in Gaza
The IDF continues its military operation in the Gaza Strip, targeting militants and terrorist infrastructure. The 99th Division, supported by the Air Force and Navy, is actively engaged in operations.
Recent reports indicate that Salah Jamil Muhammad Imad, a prominent commander of the Al-Bureij battalion within Hamas's Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, was eliminated in the central Gaza Strip. Several other terrorists were also neutralized in the operation.
In another strike, three operatives of Nukhba (Hamas special forces), some involved in the October 7 attack on Israel, were killed.
During the night, the Gaza Division's artillery thwarted a planned rocket attack on Israeli territory by shelling a Hamas rocket launch site.
Additional airstrikes targeted a building housing a sniper, two militants near a missile launch pad, and other militant positions.
Furthermore, the IDF reported the elimination of three Hamas militants, including a deputy company commander, in the Jabaliya area of the northern Gaza Strip.
