The Israeli Air Force continues to strike targets in the Gaza Strip, including in Rafah, as part of the ongoing military operation. Forces from the 99th Division are operating in central Gaza.
During the night of May 6, the IAF targeted terrorists in the Rafah area, from where mortar fire was directed at the Kerem Shalom crossing yesterday. Strikes were carried out against sniper positions, militant structures, and terrorist infrastructure.
Fighters from the 679th Brigade identified an armed militant group, following which the IAF eliminated the terrorists.
It is reported that over the past few days, the IAF has targeted numerous sites throughout the Gaza Strip. IAF helicopters were deployed to strike a building from which militants were firing at Israeli military personnel.
