Hundreds of Israelis gathered for a demonstration in central Tel Aviv, urging the government to negotiate with Hamas for the return of the hostages.
Following Hamas' announcement of its agreement to the proposed terms by the mediators, families of the abductees emphasized that "the Israeli government must demonstrate its commitment in action by fulfilling its duty to its citizens, finalizing a deal with Hamas, and bringing back all the abductees."
Protesters laid down on the roadway, blocking traffic on Menachem Begin Street, near the General Staff military base.
The families of the abductees called on fellow Israelis to "take to the streets" to show their support and amplify pressure on the Israeli government.
