Reports from sources in the Gaza Strip indicate that IDF aircraft are persisting in targeting locations in Rafah, despite Hamas's announcement of readiness for a deal with Israel.
The targets being struck are primarily located in the eastern neighborhoods of Rafah, where the IDF commenced evacuating residents on May 6.
During a briefing in Tel Aviv, IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari stated that Israel is carefully considering Hamas' response and actively seeking opportunities to secure the release of the abductees.
However, he underscored that the IDF's operation in the Gaza Strip remains ongoing and shows no signs of halting. He reported that throughout the day, Air Force aircraft had targeted over 50 terrorist infrastructure sites in the Rafah area.
