The head of the powerful Histadrut labor federation Arnon Bar-David has called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to set a date for early elections.

Speaking at a conference hosted by the Yedioth Ahronoth news outlet, Arnon Bar-David warned that Netanyahu and his government "cannot avoid responsibility" for the failures of October 7.

According to Bar-David, the elections should lead to an end to the situation he described as chaotic.

He also sharply criticized the government's activities, stating that he does not trust the cabinet of ministers, which he believes makes wrong decisions on all issues and topics.
