IDF kills Hamas's Gaza City naval chief in airstrike
The IDF has eliminated Ahmed Ali, the commander of Hamas's naval forces in Gaza City, in a recent airstrike in a joint operation with the Shin Bet security agency.
According to the Israeli military, during the conflict, Ahmad Ali was responsible for Hamas's advancing attacks against Israel, as well as against IDF troops in the Gaza Strip.
In recent weeks, Ali was involved in attacks on IDF troops operating in central Gaza's Netzarim Corridor, the IDF statement reads.
