Defense Ministry contractor succumbs to injuries sustained in mortar attack in Gaza
Liron Yitzhak, 30, a Defense Ministry contractor who was critically injured in a mortar attack in southern Gaza on Monday, has died, according to doctors at Beilinson Hospital.
According to the statement, medical teams fought for Liron Itzhak's life for two days, but on the morning of May 15, they had to declare his death.
Yitzhak, from Petah Tikva, is survived by his fiancée, to whom he was supposed to marry in two weeks, his parents, and two siblings.
He was carrying out work on behalf of a company contracted by the Defense Ministry, as part of assistance to IDF troops operating in Gaza.
