On Wednesday, May 15, the IDF called on residents of the Sheikh Za’id and al-Mansheya neighborhoods, close to Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza to evacuate the area as it presses on with its operation against Hamas in Jabaliya.
The evacuation is necessary as forces from the 98th Division, including the 7th and 460th Brigades, are already operating in central Jabalia and are expanding the military operation zone.
Palestinian civilians are told to move to shelters west of Gaza City.
Over the weekend, the IDF issued an evacuation warning for Jabaliya before it pushed into the area. Yesterday, it expanded the warning to the al-Atatra and Salatin areas.
