The National Economic Crime Unit of Lahav 433, along with other security forces, conducted a large-scale operation against "terror financiers" in Arab-populated areas of Judea and Samaria on Thursday night, May 16.
Large sums of money allegedly belonging to terrorist groups, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, were seized during the operation, and three terrorists were killed.
The operation targeted multiple Arab localities in Judea and Samaria, including Tulkarm, Arab, Qalqilya, Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jericho, Tubas, and Hebron.
Authorities initiated the operation after suspecting that a commercial financial services company in Judea and Samaria was facilitating funding for terrorist organizations. The company was found to have transferred millions of shekels from abroad to terrorists.
During the operation, authorities seized significant amounts of cash in various currencies, along with documents and computers, from different branches of the company.
