Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited the headquarters of the 162nd Armored Division in Rafah, just hours before criticizing Netanyahu.
During his visit, he held a meeting with Major General Yaron Finkelman, head of the Southern Military District, Brigadier General Itzik Cohen, commander of the 162nd Division, and other unit commanders.
Gallant reported that Israeli forces in Rafah are actively engaged in military operations, with hundreds of targets attacked and ongoing maneuvers nearing their objectives. He emphasized the continuation of the operation in Rafah with the recruitment of additional units.
Several tunnels have been destroyed, with plans to demolish more underground terrorist infrastructure soon. "Hamas lacks resources, reserves, weapons production capabilities, and supplies. Our troops are exerting pressure on Hamas," stated the defense minister.
