Jaffa police detain 60+ illegal immigrants from Palestinian Authority
On the night of May 16, Jaffa police apprehended two suspects attempting to steal a motorcycle.
Upon interrogation, it was revealed that the individuals were residents of Tulkarm and were in Israel illegally.
The detainees informed the police that they resided in Jaffa and disclosed their place of residence. Subsequently, a total of 61 illegal immigrants from the Palestinian Authority were discovered at the location.
Following the interrogation, the detainees will be presented in court, where a decision will be made regarding the extension of their detention. Typically, individuals detained for illegal residency in Israel, without any suspicions from security forces, are returned to autonomy.
