On the evening of May 16, dozens of Israeli settlers attacked a truck near the Kokhav HaShahar junction in the West Bank, believing it was transporting humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
The driver, an Israeli citizen, was injured, and the vehicle was set on fire.
Israeli soldiers who came to protect the driver clashed with the settlers. Two officers and another soldier were lightly wounded and treated at the scene, according to the IDF.
According to available information, the attacked truck was not actually carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza.
