The IDF announced that on May 20, Qasem Skalawi, the commander of Hezbollah's missile forces in the coastal sector of Lebanon, was killed in an airstrike near Tyre, several kilometers from the Israeli border.
Skalawi was responsible for planning and executing numerous rocket attacks on Israel, the IDF notes.
Additionally, the Israeli Air Force targeted a Hezbollah launch site in the Ramyah area.
Last night, shelling was reported in the Western Galilee, with several rockets landing in open areas.
