Nahal Brigade forces have joined the 162nd Division in operations in Rafah, southern Gaza. The 98th Division continues its actions in Jabalia, northern Gaza.
In Rafah, the IDF forces are currently operating in the areas of Brazil and Shaboura. The activity began with a preliminary series of aerial strikes against Hamas terror targets in Rafah.
Numerous militants have been eliminated in Jabalia over the past day.
The 679th Brigade operates in central Gaza, neutralizing several militants with tank fire and in close combat.
Over the past day, IAF struck some 130 targets in the Strip, indicating increased rather than decreased intensity of military operations in Gaza, contrary to previous nighttime reports from Gaza sources. Terrorist cells, military structures, observation posts, and additional terrorist infrastructure were destroyed.
