Sources in Gaza report that on the morning of May 28, IDF tanks approached the Tal al-Sultan area, in the northwest of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Until now, no ground military operation has been carried out in this area.
During the night, the IDF air force and artillery intensively bombarded the area.
As previously noted, the hostilities in Rafah have noticeably increased over the past 24 hours.
