Yisrael Beytenu party head Avigdor Liberman said in an interview with the Ynet website that over the past weekend, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered him the position of Minister of Defense.
Lieberman noted that Netanyahu has been under extreme pressure lately.
Last week, in an interview with Kan Reka, Liberman stated: "My offer to join the government is no longer relevant... Even if I am offered a position in the cabinet of war, even if I am offered the position of Pope, I will not join Netanyahu's coalition. It is necessary to change the government."
