Remains of Dolev Yehud, initially thought to be hostage in Gaza, discovered in Israel
The IDF has confirmed that the unidentified remains found on the grounds of Kibbutz Nir Oz belong to 35-year-old Dolev Yehud. He was initially thought to have been taken hostage to the Gaza Strip by Hamas terrorists. Dolev Yeud was killed by terrorists on October 7, 2024.
Dolev Yehud was a resident of Nir Oz and an employee of the Magen David Adom emergency service. Dolev was married with four children; his wife, Sigal, gave birth to their fourth child while he was thought to have been held captive. He was assisting the wounded during the terrorist attack.
Dolev's sister, 28-year-old Arbel Yehud, is among the hostages currently held by terrorists in Gaza.
