A 30-year-old man from an Arab district in Jerusalem was arrested for threatening to murder his wife and her relatives.
The woman left him after their young child accidentally swallowed drugs belonging to his addict father. After she left, her husband began to stalk and threaten her.
On May 29, the police received a report of domestic violence. The man had been threatening to kill his wife and harm her loved ones, including her brothers, sisters, and parents, for several weeks. This occurred after the woman left her husband due to his use of hard drugs, which endangered their son's life.
The suspect threatened to mutilate the woman, burn her alive, kill their child, and warned her against contacting the police.
The court extended the suspect's detention several times. After the prosecutor's office presented the indictment, a request was submitted to the court to extend the suspect's detention until the trial is completed.
