The IDF reports a “suspicious air target” (likely a Hezbollah UAV) was successfully intercepted over the Mediterranean Sea near Nahariya. The rocket alarm was not activated.
Near Safed, the air defense system was activated as a result of a false alarm. An IDF reservist received moderate injuries as a result of falling fragments of an interceptor missile in the Safed area. The wounded man was taken to the hospital.
