Radio station Kan Bet reported that there are injuries resulting from a possible drone or rocket attack by Hezbollah in the Upper Galilee, near the village of Hurfeish.

Rescue services, ambulances, and a helicopter have been dispatched to evacuate the injured.

The head of the Hurfeish local council told Kan Bet that two rockets launched from Lebanon exploded near the village. No sirens had sounded before the incident.

Magen David Adom director-general Eli Bin tells Channel 12 news that 11 people are wounded in the attack, including one in critical condition. Three people are listed in moderate condition and the rest are lightly hurt.

The IDF said that launches from Lebanese territory were detected, but the rocket warning system somehow was not activated. This incident is under investigation. According to initial assessments, at least one explosive-laden drone hit the area.

At the beginning of the conflict, Israeli authorities offered Hurfeish residents evacuation options, but they declined.
