The IDF reported that air defense forces intercepted a "suspicious air target" near Metula, close to the border with Lebanon. The target was flying in from Lebanon.
The launch of the interceptor missile triggered an alarm due to the potential threat of missile fragments falling into residential areas.
According to the IDF, there were no casualties or damage resulting from the incident.
