Brigadier General Avi Rosenfeld, commander of the Gaza division, has announced his resignation due to errors that resulted in the October 7 tragedy.
According to Kan Bet radio, Avi Rosenfeld has informed the Chief of the General Staff of his decision, expressing that he feels he failed in his duty to protect the bordering areas of Gaza on October 7.
Rosenfeld stated that he will remain in his position until a successor is appointed.
