IDF reports false alarms in northern Israel and airstrikes in southern Lebanon
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit reported a series of false alarms from the early warning system. Alarms sounded in northern Israel at 3:11 p.m., 5:20 p.m., 5:45 p.m., all false.
At 3:34 p.m., an alarm was triggered after two Hezbollah drones entered Israeli airspace. One of the UAVs crashed, igniting grass and bushes near the village of Sha'al. The fire was quickly extinguished.
Several Israeli interceptor missiles fell in the northern Golan Heights during an unsuccessful attempt to hit targets, causing a fire in the Safed area. Fire crews are working to contain the blaze.
Additionally, the IDF reported that their aircraft struck a building used by Hezbollah militants and a rocket launcher near the village of Aitaroun in southern Lebanon. Another military building was destroyed by an airstrike in the village of Ayta ash Shab.
