For the past 24 hours, forces from the 98th and 162nd Divisions, with support from the Israeli Air Force and Navy, have been carrying out ground operations in Gaza, focusing on the central and southern sectors.
The 98th Division, operating in the eastern areas of Al-Bureij and Deir al-Balah, supported by the Air Force, has successfully neutralized numerous militants from terror organizations, including Nukhba Forces operatives. Underground terrorist infrastructure was also targeted in the operations.
Troops from the 7th Brigade and the engineering special forces unit Yahalom have demolished several buildings and fortifications in the central part of the Gaza sector.
The 162nd Division continues its combat operations in the Rafah area, located in southern Gaza. Observers from the 414th unit of the 401st Brigade spotted two armed militants heading towards a tunnel - an airstrike eliminated them.
