The 98th Division completed operations in eastern Deir al-Balah and Al-Bureij, eliminating about 100 militants and attacking over 100 terrorist targets. They destroyed dozens of terrorist infrastructures and missile launch sites.
Collaborating with the 7th Brigade, Kfir Brigade, Tzanhanim Brigade, and Yahalom special forces, they also destroyed two 1-km-long tunnels and seized numerous weapons. Their efforts ensured the success of the June 8, 2024, rescue operation in Nuseirat.
