Around 2 PM, Hezbollah launched a significant missile and drone attack on northern Israel, targeting Katzrin and Safed. Many missiles and UAVs were intercepted, but several direct hits caused significant damage and numerous fires from falling debris.
The Magen David Adom ambulance service reported two people in their 20s with minor shrapnel wounds in Katzrin. Ziv Hospital in Safed also received two men, aged 21 and 25, with minor injuries.
Media initially reported over 100 missiles and dozens of UAVs launched within half an hour. However, the IDF later clarified that about 40 missiles and five drones were launched, with three drones intercepted by air defenses.
