The IDF has released the names of the soldiers who were killed on June 15 during combat operations in the Gaza Strip.

Eight soldiers died in a blast in Rafah in southern Gaza yesterday morning.
Another soldier, who was seriously wounded earlier in the week in Rafah, succumbed to his wounds, the military announced.

They are listed as:

Cpt. (res.) Eitan Koplovich, 28, from Jerusalem, officer of the 129th Battalion, 8th Brigade, killed in combat in the northern Gaza Strip;

Warrant Officer (res.) Elon Weiss, 49, from Psagot, fighter of the 129th Battalion, 8th Brigade, killed in combat in the northern Gaza Strip;

Sgt. Eliyahu Moshe Zimbalist, 21, from Beit Shemesh, fighter of the 601st Battalion, 401st Brigade, killed in combat in the southern Gaza Strip;

Sgt. Itay Amar, 19, from Kochav Yair, fighter of the 601st Battalion, 401st Brigade, killed in combat in the southern Gaza Strip;

Sgt. Stanislav Kostarev, 21, from Ashdod, fighter of the 601st Battalion, 401st Brigade, killed in combat in the southern Gaza Strip;

Sgt. Or Blumovitz, 20, from Pardes Hanna-Karkur, fighter of the 601st Battalion, 401st Brigade, killed in combat in the southern Gaza Strip;

Sgt. Oz Yeshaya Gruber, 20, from Tal Menashe, fighter of the 601st Battalion, 401st Brigade, killed in combat in the southern Gaza Strip;

Cpt. Wassem Mahmoud, 23, from Beit Jann, a deputy company commander in the Combat Engineering Corps’ 601st Battalion, killed in combat in the southern Gaza Strip;

Sgt. Yair Roitman, 19, from Karnei Shomron, a fighter of the Givati Brigade’s reconnaissance unit, succumbed to his wounds in a hospital after being severely wounded in the southern Gaza Strip.

Two soldiers were seriously wounded in the combat in northern Gaza.

307 IDF soldiers have been killed in Gaza since the beginning of the ground operation on October 27, 2023.
