IDF conducts operations in areas of Qalqilya, Nablus, and Hebron overnight

The IDF continued its operations in Judea and Samaria to prevent new terrorist attacks and to detain or neutralize terrorist organization activists.

According to Palestinian Authority sources, Israeli forces operated on the night of June 17 in and around Qalqilya (in Azzun), near Nablus (in Aqraba), near Hebron (in al-Shuyukh), and in Aqabat Jaber (south of Jericho).

Armed clashes between troops and Palestinians took place. Militants fired at an IDF checkpoint on the northern outskirts of Qalqilya.

There have been no official reports of casualties among Israeli soldiers in Judea and Samaria last night.

Suspects have been detained. The total number of those detained on suspicion of terrorist activity is being clarified.

The IDF has not yet commented on the events in Judea and Samaria on the night of June 17.
