A large wildfire broke out near the village of Ilaniya, located between Tiberias and Nazareth in Galilee. About 20 fire crews and 10 aircraft from the Elad firefighting squadron were involved in combating the blaze.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Israel has experienced dry and hot weather for many days, leading to frequent fires, often sparked by missile or UAV strikes or their fragments. However, Ilaniya is located tens of kilometers from the border with Lebanon, and no shelling was recorded there today.
