The Qatari publication Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed detailed a recent meeting in Bahrain attended by top military leaders from the US, Israel, and several Arab nations.

Participants included US Central Command's Michael Kurilla, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, and military commanders from Egypt, Bahrain, Jordan, and the UAE.

Key topics discussed were ending the Gaza conflict, establishing an early warning system against Iranian air threats (including missiles and drones), and ensuring maritime security off Yemen's coast.

Egypt offered to send troops to Gaza under a UN mandate as part of an Arab force, temporarily guarding checkpoints including those along the Israeli border. Troops will withdraw once Gaza comes under Palestinian Authority control.
