Dozens of anti-government protesters disrupt legislative session in Knesset and removed
Several dozen anti-government protest members disrupted the Knesset legislative session when they began shouting, waving signs with anti-government slogans, and putting posters on the walls in the Knesset plenum's visitors gallery.
Knesset guards started removing the protesters, who resisted actively by clinging to chairs; some had to be carried out. The Vice-Speaker of the Knesset, commenting on the incident, reminded that disrupting parliamentary proceedings is a criminal offense.
Knesset member Tali Gottlieb shouted at the protesters, calling them barbarians. Opposition representatives protested against the expulsion of the demonstrators, labeling it as violence. One opposition member shouted that due to the violence, continuing the vote was impossible. However, the Deputy Speaker of the Knesset ordered her to be silent, stating that "what is happening adds no respect to anyone."
