IDF confirms killing of senior Hezbollah commander
The IDF has confirmed several operations in southern Lebanon, including the killing of a senior Hezbollah commander.
Faisal Ibrahim, responsible for planning and executing terrorist attacks against Israel in a southern Lebanese sector, was killed in the Deir Kifah area near Tyre.
Hezbollah confirmed his death, identifying him as Abbas Ibrahim Hamda, also known as "Faisal."
In another operation in the Rihana area, an air defense battery operated by Hezbollah, which posed a threat to the Israeli Air Force, was also eliminated.
