In southern Gaza, gunfire in northwest Rafah was reported with one fatality. The IDF airstrikes hit targets in the Saudi area, west of Rafah. Several buildings were reportedly destroyed in the Saudi area by military forces. Israeli artillery shelled targets in central and western Rafah. Sources in Gaza claimed that militants fired at an Israeli helicopter east of Rafah.
