In Qalqilya, officers from the undercover mista‘arvim unit of the Israeli Police attempted to apprehend two Islamic Jihad terrorists with the assistance of IDF and Shin Bet.
During the arrest attempt, the terrorists opened fire on the Israeli police and soldiers. In response, the terrorists were killed. One of the eliminated terrorists was planning an attack.
