IDF targets militants at former UNRWA building in central Gaza
On the morning of June 23, the IDF announced that they conducted airstrikes in central Gaza targeting terror infrastructure facilities. The operation was carried out with intelligence support from military sources, the General Security Service, and the 99th Division.
One of the targets was the former headquarters of UNRWA, where Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants were present during the attack.
Before launching the airstrikes, the IDF conducted drone surveillance of the strike zone to ensure no civilians were present. Precision-guided weapons were used in the operation, as per the IDF report.
