Haaretz: Sara Netanyahu told families of hostages army command planning military coup

Sara Netanyahu, wife of the Israeli Prime Minister, reportedly told relatives of the hostages that the army command was plotting a military coup to remove her husband, Benjamin Netanyahu, from office. These claims were allegedly conveyed to senior officers, according to Haaretz on Tuesday, June 25.

During a meeting last week with representatives of several hostages' families, Sara Netanyahu repeatedly expressed distrust in the Israel Defense Forces command.

Representatives for the Prime Minister dismissed these reports as a "false leak," stating that the "constant leaks about Mrs. Netanyahu are unfounded and unfair."
