Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with US Senator John Peterman on June 26 in Jerusalem.

Netanyahu thanked Senator Peterman for his visit and unwavering support for Israel, commending his courageous act of standing with the Israeli flag in front of pro-Palestinian protesters.

"In these dark times of war and suffering, Israel has had no better friend than Senator John Peterman. Senator, welcome to Israel. Thank you for your bold statements, moral clarity, and unwavering friendship during this difficult period,” Netanyahu said.

Senator Peterman replied, "We stand with Israel now. I am deeply sorry for what has happened to your people. It is an honor to be here today."

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Strategic Affairs, the head of the National Security Service, the Prime Minister's political adviser, and the US Ambassador to Israel.
