State Comptroller Matanyahu Engelman has urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to restore order amidst ongoing disagreements between the Ministers of Interior and Defense regarding actions on the northern border in the event of a full-scale war with Hezbollah.

Engelman highlighted the prolonged nature of these disputes, noting their daily appearance in the media. He emphasized the critical need for coordinated government action at this crucial time for the country.

In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister, the State Comptroller raised concerns about the Ministry of Interior and the PASAH Emergency Management Directorate failing to fulfill their responsibilities in managing the reception of evacuees from the south and north during the final stages of reviewing a plan for potential citizen evacuation.

Earlier this month, Engelman visited Kiryat Shmona, a city in the conflict zone, where he assessed the situation and the government agencies' operations. He also visited areas targeted by terrorists on October 7.
