IDF conducts operations in Nablus and near Qalqilya overnight
The IDF continues operations in the West Bank to prevent new terrorist attacks and apprehend or neutralize terrorist organization activists.
Sources in the Palestinian Authority report that Israeli military actions took place overnight in Nablus and surrounding areas (Talfit, Sarra), near Qalqilya (Kafr Qaddum, Jit), and that IDF drones were seen over Tubas.
Clashes took place.
There are no official reports of injured Israeli soldiers from last night's operations in the West Bank.
Suspects have been detained. The total number of detainees is being clarified.
IDF has not yet commented on the events.
Late on June 29, an elderly man arrived at the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, reporting his car was stoned. Magen David Adom paramedics provided first aid and transported him to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. MADA reports the 84-year-old man has light injuries.
Sources in the PA also reported clashes in Tulkarem. Initially, there were reports of a possible Israeli special forces operation. Later, it was announced that militants from one of the factions engaged in a shootout with Palestinian security forces. At least one militant was critically injured in the head.
