The IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed an explosion in the northern Golan Heights caused by a kamikaze drone launched from Lebanon.
The explosion injured 18 military personnel, one of whom is in serious condition. The injured were taken to the hospital, and their families have been notified.
Following the attack, Israeli air force planes struck Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. The targets included a Hezbollah observation post near the village of Markaba and a rocket launcher in Aita al-Shaab, which had been used to fire on northern Israel.
