Special forces from the Oz brigade, the 401st brigade, and the Yakhalom engineering unit, all under the command of the 162nd division, discovered and destroyed an underground factory producing missiles for Islamic Jihad in the Tel Sultan quarter of Rafah. The factory was used to manufacture the organization's longest-range missiles.
The operation involved battles with terrorists both above and below ground. IDF drones and precision missiles were used to eliminate some of the militants during the operation.
