Five teenagers from Zikim played a prank on a friend by coming to his home at night wearing masks and carrying toy weapons.
The incident happened last Friday at Kibbutz Karmia. According to Kan Bet radio, the frightened victims called the police. The five teenagers are now under investigation.
Kibbutzim Karmia and Zikim are located just a few kilometers from the Gaza Strip. On October 7, IDF naval forces prevented a massacre in Zikim by killing militants attempting to invade from the sea. Self-defense units also helped repel a Hamas ground attack. Many residents of both kibbutzim were evacuated and have not yet returned to their homes.
